Fall (and Grace) are in the air...

It is a BEAUTIFUL DAY here in Knoxville, TN. I believe it was in the 60's when we did this shoot this morning. SO FALL IS IN THE AIR!!!

Let me explain the GRACE part...
I show up to this shoot this morning. I pull up in the parking lot. PRECIOUS FAMILY waiting for me... Dressed up and ready to go. I was excited about the day. I was doing their shoot and we have plans to go to the UT game today.
Every time I do a shoot, Ted loads up the car for me (SWEET HUSBAND). I tell him what i need (props) and he loads it all up for me. This morning was the same... he loaded up the car. I got into the car... drove the 25 minutes to the Botanical Gardens and I get there to realize....
NO CAMERA!!!! Yes, you read that right! NO. CAMERA.

There is another professional (MUCH MORE PROFESSIONAL THAN MYSELF... SHE HAS HER CAMERA!) at the gardens (great, someone to witness my stupid move!). So I am standing there with my clients and this photographer is getting her equipment ready. I begin to frantically call my house. OVER. AND. OVER. NO ANSWER! I call again and again. Finally, Avery answers... long story short I tell Ted to come with camera and LEAVE FAST!!!! I asked the photographer that was there if she had a back up camera (SHE DID!) and a lens (SHE DID!) and so I began my shoot with her camera (it was a canon so I knew how to operate it!!) She had an older canon body camera and a 50mm fixed lens. I use all kinds of different lenses... one of my favorites is the 50mm. SO THANKFUL and I use a Canon 5d Mark ii. Our camera bodies were different but I was thankful she had a canon because I was familiar with how it operates!

Ted showed up... I downloaded the pictures from the other photographers memory card and picked up with my gear... WHAT A MORNING! WHAT A GRACIOUS, PRECIOUS FAMILY! They were so kind about the whole thing... THANK YOU OH SO MUCH!
Enjoy your sneak peek!
